Leadership is not just about holding a position—it is about inspiring, motivating, and guiding others toward a shared vision. As part of Bangladesh Rotaract Day celebrations, I had the honor of moderating the "Learn to Lead" session, which brought together some of the most distinguished Rotaract and Rotary leaders from around the world.

This session focused on developing leadership skills, understanding global Rotaract perspectives, and exploring the journey from Rotaract to Rotary leadership roles. The speakers shared their personal experiences, leadership strategies, and valuable insights to empower young leaders in Rotaract.

It was an inspiring and knowledge-packed seminar, providing valuable takeaways for aspiring leaders within the Rotaract community.

Distinguished Guest Speakers & Their Expertise

This event featured three prominent global Rotaract and Rotary leaders who have contributed significantly to the growth of Rotaract worldwide:

1️⃣ Mahi Mahiuddin Palash – RI Rotaract Committee Member (2003-04) | DRR 1998-99, RID 3280, Bangladesh | Past President, Rotary Club of Dhaka Midtown

🔹 A pioneer in Rotaract leadership in Bangladesh, Mr. Palash discussed the evolution of Rotaract in Bangladesh, emphasizing the importance of mentorship, networking, and strategic leadership.

My Role as the Moderator & Event Facilitator

As the Moderator of this prestigious event, I played a crucial role in ensuring a smooth, engaging, and insightful discussion. My responsibilities included:

Preparing & Structuring the Event: Ensuring a well-organized flow of discussions, key topics, and audience engagement.
Facilitating Speaker Introductions & Discussions: Introducing esteemed speakers and maintaining an interactive, knowledge-driven conversation.
Engaging the Audience: Encouraging participation, managing live Q&A sessions, and ensuring a dynamic learning experience.
Summarizing Key Insights: Ensuring that key messages and takeaways were effectively communicated to participants.
Maintaining a Positive & Professional Atmosphere: Balancing formal discussions with an engaging, motivational tone.

Moderating such an event enhanced my public speaking, facilitation, and leadership skills, reaffirming my ability to manage high-level discussions and inspire young leaders.

Challenges & Learning Experience
