Successfully Completed My First Project as District International Service Director
Project Name: Project HOPE (Helping Out People Everyday)
Tagline: Kindness Cannot Be Quarantined
Overview of the Project
As my first project as the District International Service Director for Rotaract District 3281, Project HOPE served as a testament to the core values of Rotaract: service, collaboration, and compassion. The initiative was a joint venture, bringing together Rotaract District Organization 3281 with Rotaract District 3012, Rotaract International District Organization 3080, and other international clubs, symbolizing unity and collective effort beyond borders.
Timeline: July 5 – July 20, 2020
The project emphasized kindness and gratitude during challenging times, especially amid the global COVID-19 pandemic. It was designed to uplift spirits and foster human connections through small yet meaningful gestures.
Objectives
- Promote International Collaboration: Strengthen ties between Rotaract clubs across districts and countries through a shared mission.
- Foster Community Service: Address immediate emotional and psychological needs in the community by spreading joy and kindness.
- Encourage Creative Engagement: Involve Rotaract members in an innovative, hands-on project to develop their service leadership skills.
