Liaison Officer: 29th Rotaract PESETS "INITIATOR 2019"

On 4th May 2019, I had the privilege of serving as the Liaison Officer (LO) for the 29th Rotaract District President Elect & Secretary Elect Training Seminar (PESETS) titled "INITIATOR 2019." The event, held at the Kendrio Kochi Kachar Mela, Dhaka, was a key leadership training seminar designed to prepare incoming Presidents and Secretaries of Rotaract Clubs within the district for their tenure.

As the Liaison Officer, my primary responsibilities revolved around ensuring seamless communication and coordination among various stakeholders. This role required me to bridge the gap between the organizing committee, facilitators, and attendees, ensuring that every aspect of the event ran smoothly.

Key responsibilities included:

  • Facilitating Communication: I acted as the central point of contact for participants, ensuring they had access to event schedules, materials, and updates.
  • Event Coordination: Collaborating with the organizing team to manage logistics, such as participant registration, session setups, and resource allocation.
  • Problem-Solving: Addressing on-the-spot challenges to ensure a professional and welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.
  • Networking: Engaging with Rotaractors from various clubs, building connections, and fostering collaboration.

The theme "INITIATOR 2019" encapsulated the spirit of leadership and innovation, encouraging the future leaders of Rotaract Clubs to take proactive steps in serving their communities. The seminar included insightful sessions led by experienced trainers, focusing on leadership development, strategic planning, and team management.

Serving as the Liaison Officer for such a prestigious event was a remarkable experience. It enhanced my organizational and leadership skills while allowing me to contribute to the development of emerging leaders within the Rotaract community. The experience left a lasting impact on my personal and professional growth, reinforcing my passion for community service and leadership development.
