Organized by Rotaract Club of Geetanjali Kolkata & Hosted by Rotaract Club of Rajdhani Dhaka
On December 12, 2020, I played a significant role in organizing and facilitating the Human Rights Day celebration, a collaborative event between the Rotaract Club of Geetanjali Kolkata and the Rotaract Club of Rajdhani Dhaka. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about fundamental human rights, inspire action, and encourage youth participation in advocating for social justice.
Key Highlights of the Event
Conceptualization and Theme Development
The event was centered around the theme of “Human Rights and Social Responsibility.” As part of the organizing team, I contributed to designing an interactive and engaging concept that encouraged participants to reflect on human rights issues in their communities. We emphasized the importance of freedom, equality, and dignity, encouraging individuals to take action by raising their voices against injustices.International Collaboration and Networking
This event was a cross-border initiative between two Rotaract clubs from India and Bangladesh, showcasing the power of international youth collaboration. My role included coordinating between both clubs, ensuring smooth communication, and aligning our objectives to create a meaningful impact.Social Media Engagement Campaign
To amplify the reach and impact of our event, we launched a social media challenge where participants were encouraged to:- Click a picture with a quote on humanity
- Share it on social media platforms
- Inspire change by spreading awareness
This campaign helped engage a broader audience beyond our immediate club members, allowing us to create a virtual movement advocating for human rights.

- Coordinating with Rotaractors from both countries
- Ensuring smooth execution of the virtual and social media campaign
