Presentation on "A Data-Driven Approach to Addressing GBV in the OKUP-FSTIP Project"

📢 Proud to have had the opportunity to present on "A Data-Driven Approach to Addressing GBV in the OKUP-FSTIP Project" during the Brown Bag Session organized by the Winrock International FSTIP MERL team.
This session allowed us to explore critical aspects of gender-based violence (GBV) and its data management, including:
🔍 What constitutes GBV data in the context of the OKUP-FSTIP project?
📊 Types of GBV data we collect and analyze.
🔐 Effective GBV data management, privacy, and security protocols.
💡 Leveraging GBV data for transformative change to address and mitigate GBV in communities.
Sharing these insights reinforced the importance of a data-driven approach in identifying trends, developing targeted interventions, and safeguarding survivor privacy while ensuring impactful service delivery. It’s inspiring to be part of a project committed to creating safer, more equitable communities.
A big thank you to the MERL team and participants for this collaborative and insightful discussion! Together, we can continue to innovate and strengthen our efforts to combat GBV.
